All we want for Christmas is a pro bono client
Since we founded Krazy Fish, taking on the occasional pro bono campaign and holding free lectures for universities and youth organizations have become a tradition of sorts. We firmly believe in supporting the communities we work in.
As Krazy Fish prepares to expand globally in 2016, our executive team sat down to rethink our pro bono projects and quickly realized that the only right thing to do is to expand our pro bono work globally as well. The problem is – with so much happening in the world, we’re not sure where to begin. This is why we’ve decided to solicit the help of our community, partners, and colleagues in deciding which pro bono projects to support.
What we’re offering
As of January 2016, we will be offering marketing and public relations support for one project every three months, for a duration of three months. This support will include:
- Business development advice and training
- Public relations support and training
- Social media marketing management and training
- Marketing basics training
- Business management basics training
Basically, Krazy Fish experts will create a marketing and business development strategy for the project, non-profit organization or social entrepreneurship of our choice, then help them implement it and train the in-house team over a period of three months. Free of charge and available seven days a week, anywhere in the world.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a project, non-profit cause or social entrepreneurship we can fall in love with. We don’t really care if the organization in question is registered as a non-profit or a social business. As long as your work gives back to the community in some way, please do apply. We’re registered as a for-profit business in several countries but we constantly give back to our communities by fostering, advising and training youth entrepreneurship and non-government organizations. We understand that giving back to your community isn’t always best done in cash donations.
To give you a better understanding of what we might fall in love with, maybe getting to know our team would help. Individually and jointly, all Krazy Fish executives have and continue to contribute to equal rights, female entrepreneurship, youth entrepreneurship, human rights, providing more opportunities for marginalized children and teenagers, as well as training youth, startups, and young women in all things digital and business development.
How to apply
We will be accepting applications and suggestions every three months, please see the schedule at the end of this page. All applicants will receive a response and, if they are not chosen for the three-month training and campaign program, a review and advice regarding their marketing and visibility efforts.
To apply, please send a one-page summary describing the project or campaign, including a description of your organization or business to office[at]krazy.fish. If you are an individual, please include your CV and previous relevant projects. Keep it casual and make it as personal as you’d like. We’re looking to lend a helping hand to real people and we’d like to get to know you.
If you know an organization or business that could benefit from this, please share this link with them and encourage them to apply.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us on social networks. That’s why we’re there. We’re really looking forward to meeting some great people doing great stuff out there.
